Exposure classes
POTENTIAL EXPOSURE — calculated but not proven lost. LIKELY LOSS — high confidence operational failure. VERIFIED LOSS — cash-proven. RECOVERED VALUE — confirmed after a fix. UNKNOWN — insufficient inputs; we will not invent a number.
